Putin and Poroshenko agree to `permanent ceasefire` in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko have agreed to a "permanent ceasefire" in fighting engulfing the east of the ex-Soviet state, the Ukrainian leader`s office said on Wednesday.
