Blast in Syria kills top al Qaeda commander: Insurgent sources

A blast targeting senior members of al Qaeda`s official Syrian wing, the Nusra Front, killed the group`s General Military Commander Abu Humam al-Shami on Thursday, two insurgent sources told Reuters.
