Russia says wanted `immediate` Ukraine truce

Russia wanted an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine and the Sunday morning deadline was agreed in talks in Minsk under pressure from rebel leaders, President Vladimir Putin`s spokesman was quoted as saying Friday.
